People Who Run Downtown: Pittsburgh

Every Tuesday night, we meet at a different restaurant/bar in a different Pittsburgh neighborhood with maps for 4- and 6-mile routes.  The group is made up of experienced marathoners and newbie runners, and people running at a variety of paces.

Most importantly, we celebrate our workouts with post-run drinks and food.  Depending on your point-of-view, People Who Run Downtown can be about the journey or the destination.  It's up to you.

Things to know:

  • As always, participating in PWRD is run at your own risk.

  • Usually someone tries to bring a stack of paper maps, but the system isn’t foolproof. If you want to be 100% sure to have a paper map, it’s BYO. Check the schedule to find this week’s map and/or Map Guy posts to Facebook - the map is usually up by Tuesday morning.
